WHO WE ARE

Our History

Abban family established Jaylis School. The name Jaylis was derived from combination of names from three (3) children of Mr/Mrs Samuel Allan Abban.

The Gold mining activities saw the influx of people and businesses in the Asutifi District and its environs. Jaylis School was established to serve as better alternative to existing basic schools within the districts.

Our institution was established on 10th October 2011 and registered as Jaylis Day Care with total number of four (4) Pupils and three (3) Staff. We are located at Ola resettlement, Phase.1, Kenyasi Brong Ahafo, within the same neighborhood as Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd (NGGL).

Our Objectives

Jaylis School has two (2) main facilities all located in Kenyasi no.2. Suitable building structure for Creche and Nursery located in Ola Resettlement Phase one. All classrooms tiled with required indoor and outdoor learning and playing tools and equipments. A well kept lawn, walled and secured premises you will prefer for your ward.

Also, we have purpose-built two-storey (under construction) meant for lower and upper primary.

Resourced computer library with uninterrupted internet access. The fenced facility is well-secured, clean, safe, with spacious classrooms and compound. Our mechanized borehole ensure there is frequent and consistent water flow.
